Baby dedications – May 12-13, 2012

On Mother’s Day weekend we will once again be dedicating babies to the Lord during each service. You don’t have to be a member of Twin Oaks to participate. You just have to be a Christian married couple committed to raise your child in the Lord and in a Bible-believing church (Contact Randy at rwheeler50@hotmail.com if you have any questions) May 6th is the deadline to turn in your information sheets and digital photo if you would like to dedicate your baby. Mothers Day Weekend (w/ Saturday service) – May 12-13, 2012

Mother’s Day is always a big weekend for us at Twin Oaks. Moms invite their kids and kids invite their moms and we have baby dedications so the place is so packed that we have to add a Saturday night service. So mark this weekend on your calendar and begin your invitations now.

Co-ed Softball

Games are on Tuesday nights in Brownstown. Season starts in early May. The cost to play is ~ $35 per person. Players must be at least 15 years old to play and attend Twin Oaks at least twice a month. Foyer as a worship area

Many of you may not be aware that our fireplace area is used as a “worship area” during services for parents whose kids got fussy in the service and by a few occasional people who have “panic” issues in the crowded worship center. This is where they watch the service on the TV. So if you aren’t in the worship service please leave that area for this purpose during services and if you are in the café area please keep your conversations low so that these worshippers can hear the service. Thank you.
