This week Randy Wheeler digs into one of the most perplexing questions about God’s will and our limited human perspective: “Why is the World So Messed Up?” This difficult question is front of mind for many Christians as we continue to see the devastation and pain in Haiti. Wouldn’t you like to know the answer?

Twin Oaks Christian Church Sermon

The problem of suffering – Judges 6:12-14; Psalms 10:1; Psalms 44:23-24; Psalms 73

If we were God we would surely do things differently.

Here is God’s answer to the question of suffering:

  • “I am not done.” – Romans 8:28
  • “You are not alone” – Romans 8:31-32
  • “Rest in My love” – Romans 8:35-39
  • “Trust that there will coma a day” – Psalms 56:8; Revelation 21:3-4

Next week’s message: “Why the Conflict: Science and the Bible?”
